This number called me three times on 3/2/2016 in the space of half an hour and again today (4/2/2016). I called this number thinking it was yahoo support, as I haven't been able to access my e-mail address. As soon as I called, they asked me to pay $40 so it did seem strange, but I had already given them my e-mail address and date of birth. Hopefully that won't have any consequences?

Some young chap, northern accent. Said it was Vodafone, asked for me by name. As usual I did not confirm who I was.as asked him to continue. He hung up. Very noisy in background. My opinion unprofessional at best if Vodafone, more likely telemarketing scum trying to confirm details. Now blocked.

SCAM - Claiming to be from my internet service provider and tried to get me to install "AnyDesk Remote Control" app / program so that they could gain access to my system. After calling them out on it they promptly terminated the call. Under no circumstances should you follow any instructions from these people.
I haven't found any ratings for this number somewhere else on internet resources, which should be a good sign... Does someone have some experience with this one? Was trying also different formats of this number, but no luck. On the other hand I am not the only one searching for this number as can be seen from different pages... Does anyone know who might be calling?
