Offered nuiscance call blocking service. Claimed to be from National Call Blocking Registry but this is an American government service, not BT. I decided to let her call back tomorrow. Meanwhile block the number.

SCAM They said they were Virgin Broadband and needed to log on to my system to fix a problem that had shown up. When I said I wasn't with Virgin, she said "Well go f*** yourself" and hung up!

Recorded message claiming to be HMRC stating that it was taking me to court, and to press option 1 to speak to my case officer. Ridiculous scam, presumably trying to get my name, address and NI number. No government department would ever contact anyone in this way, and certainly never leave a message that inflammatory.

Been called alt least twice a day by this number...it s a debt/loan agency...I personally have never had any dealings with this, or any other agency, so have fostered my mobile with the TPS and added the number to my spam application on the phone. SCAM - rang me twice, didn't answer. Had an automated voicemail message saying it was HMRC and if I didn't press 1 to activate a call back, a warrant would be issued and I would be arrested immediately! Bring it on muppets!
