this is the second number to ring to say that they were calling from virgin media and that I was having problems with my internet and my router was intermittent and had a fault. I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEM WITH MY INTERNET AND THERFORE NO FAULT, SO THIS IS A SCAM CALL this is a scam call as the number shows it coming from local area and they do not have any offices in the area and they are situated in Manchester

Received a call from 02039741025 and when I answered I was greeted by an automated voice message saying my details had been linked to fraudulent activities and that if I did not call them back my bank accounts would be frozen. I blocked the number on my phone and 1 day later I received a similar call from 02039174216. I have not been able to confirm this but it all seems to be a scam.

SCAM / SPAM - Caller is part of a group targeting the elderly. Male with a strong foreign accent stated his name was 'David' and was calling from the RBS HQ. When challenged where the RBS HQ is located he stuttered and mumbled before hanging up. Please treat this number with caution

Phishing scam - very lame people on top of it.
Caller with what sounded like an indian accent asked for the householder -they got name of the householder wrong so clearly their database [ no idea where they got it ] is corrupted . The number appearing on my phone was a N Ireland area code but she sounded anything but irish. When Isaid there was one of that name here , they hung up tartly . [ I think I ve been contacted by this Co. before but using an alternative no , as the wrong name they quoted has been used before by other cold callers ].
