Returned the call and the answering machine said Brother Steven from the House of Resurrection!
SCAM First a silent call to establish there is a number. Second call, a foreign voice, purporting to be calling on behalf of UK HMRC (tax collection) talking about fine/charge for an infraction, and inviting you to press 1 to discuss it.
A robocall pretending to be the HMRC out to arrest me if I don't talk to them. An obvious scam.
This is a scammer purporting to be from 'Customs & Revenue'. Just hang up.

0203 769 7565 - My elderly mother advised she had received a scam call, claiming to be Sky and calling her by name. Asian sounding woman (Susan) stated Sky are changing from monthly debit standing order to single annual payment, required upfront. Said they were from Carphone Warehouse offering a brand new phone for only £35 per month. Stayed on the call with them and I told them my D.O.B (I gave a fake one) when they asked for my contact details. They then asked for my D.O.B again to which I gave a completely different date which did not phase the man on the other end of the line. So I strung him on for as long as I could before hanging up as I couldnt think of a fake address to give. Next time Ill have one ready! :) This number is a scammer.

Linked to a life insurance query I made, keeps calling from multiple numbers in the same area code. I called them back and they were quite happy to give my name to the caller, without any ID checks. Very dodgy, do not buy anything from this company as they have no idea about customer service.

This was a recorded message telling me that £600 had been debited from my account and asking me to press 1 to respond. I have now blocked the number.
Used by fraudsters to remotely taking over computers, pretending the call from BT Broadband Technical Departent.
Paid number I ended the phone call after 2mins to then get a text saying I’ve reached my spend cap, do not call or answer to this number!!!!!
