After picking up the call, a recorded message to let us know the call is recorded played. Once over the line was dropped from their end. A call from "Go Pro services" was expected, perhaps this was a Go Pro service agent? The result of poor training perhaps?

I was called on my mobile from this number at 15.05 on 4 May 2023. I didn't get to the phone before it stopped ringing and there was no message left. On 24 April 2023, I was also called from a number in the same range, that is 0141 320 0285, with exactly the same results. I've now blocked both numbers, but no doubt they could call me next week from 0141 320 0275 or similar! I've given it the benefit of the doubt with a rating of Annoying. I think it's actually likely to be Dangerous.

Other similar sites reflect that this is a scammer - between 2 other sites I looked at, calls started from this number about 4 or so hours ago and the number has been searched almost 1,000 times!
This is British gas and they make appointments without asking you to install smart meters I went online and cancelled if you dont they will turn up and Ive read if you dont let them in or are out they will bill you for their time absolutely ridiculous

I was trying to activate a phone on my company network and after working with Verizon and the phone started initializing it came up with this phone number which is 1/2 way around the world for Bribane. Verizon still working on figuring it out. Not sure how this phone number was hijacked to a phone number so far away from my location and mysteriously changed numbers. The phone number on the account has been on my account for 25 years now.

01794399253 called my landline on Thursday 13 July and a recorded message advised me that money had been transferred from my account and to key 1 to sort it. 01794 is a Romsey UK number as is my number so I assumed it was local. I did not continue with the call. It was the same as other messages that I have received recently mentioned Amazon. How do scammers phone from local numbers?

They said their engineer was working on the line and detected an extra IP address registered at my location. Now BT customer services never ring outbound on a mobile, plus IP addresses are allotted by the router and not by the user. Many have been missed calls and the rest I let ring out. I rang back and they all have had an answering machine with the same female voice putting me in a queue and at no point saying who they are. Whoever they are, they have the ability to have or create many numbers. They get blocked and move onto another number and call back.
