Called to tell me that my computer was running slow and offered to take control of my laptop to show me how to cure the problem. I kept pestering HER with various questions in the middle of her "spill" eventually she hang up. Anyone reading this NEVER let anyone take control of your computer from a "cold" telephone call....
It was a Northumbria Water call alert about a leak in the area. A visit to the website confirmed that there was a local problem. (Why can't these companies publish the numbers they use to make calls?)

They had the cheek to call me again - when I was busy of course - with their wretched recorded message saying it was not too late. I think they can be prosecuted for this harassment and dishonesty, pretending people have claims when they know nothing about whether they have or not, and be heavily fined. Does relate to an account setup. It s a company relates to crypto and it s a courtesy call. Caller is actually in Cyprus not London Dodgy number but thanks BT for allowing such things legal but misleading. Call genuine.
