Automated call saying they are from HMRC and if you don't press one now a warrant will be issued against you for fraud. Total scam.... avoid at all costs and do NOT press one. Apparently if you do you your telephone bill will be charged an extortionate amount of money - not sure how much because, fortunately, I did not press one!!!

I lady called me saying she had frozen a transaction from going to a offshore account in China. The currency was bitcoin. This was odd as these transactions go to a bit coin wallet then to a debit card that is registered on your account. She did no DPA to verify that I was the account holder. Then she wanted me to download a app I refused so she asked if I have a pc or laptop. I said pc she wanted to screen share. I would do no such things I told her then hug up.

Super Alliance Solutions. Uses totally unsolicited calling using UK numbers and a robo caller with a generic South of England accent which identifies itself as "Ava Lawson". "Ava" asks about the accident you had; If you respond with "yes" it puts you through to a "supervisor" who is always working in an Indian call centre with the associated strong accent who has a hilariously unrealistic name like "Dave" or "Steve". Always press 9 to remove from caller list but keeps phoning. When I connected I asked 11 times to be removed from their database they just kept asking why I didn t want the money I m owed. Asked to speak to supervisor told he was a supervisor, this needs reporting to ofcom.
A chap called Jamie called to update our tariff, saying he was from E-On, but didn’t have our bank details. This is odd as we put all our utilities on standing order. Even stranger as we don’t have an E-On account! Didn’t have a chance to challenge as he left this message on our answer phone.
