According to UoB website this number shouldn't be calling for student fundraising so this is likely a scam. "Our Student Fundraisers will call you from 0121 678 1000, but please note that this number is outgoing only. If you receive a call from a Student Fundraiser, they will be able to send you a verification email while you are on the phone to them. This email will come from [email protected] – a University domain email account."

Settled accident claim (9 months ago, not my fault, no physical injury sustained by me) and eventually accepted small payout after being hounded by solicitors. Caller advised they were from "Chase Alexander" - asked for me by name - regarding RTC. I asked when was the RTC (last one I had was 2011), they replied in the last 2 years. Told them the last RTC was before that. They asked if they had their records mixed up with someone else at my address. I asked what address they had for me and they hung up. Sounds like they are trying to obtain personal details - possible vishing scam - AVOID!!!

Ringing this no back, recorded message claiming to be NHS & say they will call again. Some sites say this is an appt reminder, but it s certainly not that in my case. A search on my local NHS, Betwsy Cadwalader shows no knowledge of this number. I have now blocked this caller.
