This number called me this morning 10.02 am. What appeared to be recorded message told me that they were speaking from Visa and my card had been used to place an £800 bet in the USA, if this wasn't me press a button on the phone. I hung-up without responding and have confirmed this was not true, another scam.

This was a scam call claiming to be from a restaurant I visited recently through OpenTable, they got my card info before phoning back on a private number claiming to be from Santander.

Phones and cuts off when you answer expecting you to call back at some exorbitant rate. Not happening!

Same as other comment caller asked if this was first name at company X and then promptly hung up Clearly confirming numbers amp names off a database of some sort

This is a scam call. Pertaining to be from HMRC and stating legal action to be taken or chose an option.

I have recieved 2 calls from this number, both times the person reports to be from Amazon Business and seeking that I set up a business account. Amazon have checked this out and its definitely not them, so must therefore be a nuisance or scam. The person calling knows your name.

SCAM - A man called "Mark Ryan" claiming to be from Derby County Court with a High Court Writ out against your business for an unpaid amount of almost £4000. This number called me on 28.04.23. Supposedly, a message from my bank to inform that my debit card had been used for suspicious purchases. To cancel the 2 transactions and speak to an agent press 1, which I did. A woman with a very strong foreign accent requested my name, date of birth and address in order to make the cancellation. She then asked for my card sort code, which rang alarm bells. I told her that if she was calling from my bank she should already know that and I would ring them. She hung up.

I was called yesterday by quite a polite guy asking me how much I pay for Broadband I said I was unsure and he told me about a Sky package that would cost me 19month with no set up fees and would include Broadband 350 channels including Sky Entertainment Package Netflix and Discovery Plus After 18 months it would increase unless I telephoned them I said I would need to think about it and he said I will arrange a quotcallbackquot tomorrow Today I was called back but alarm bells rung and then he hung up

Received a call from this number, answered and received an automated message saying my Amazon account had 2 large orders using my card and they didn’t think it was me. It said press 1 for yes it was me and 2 for it wasn’t. I hung up an obvious scam call as how can they know who in the household picks up the call as there might be 5 of us with cards and Amazon accounts!

Suspected fraud Automated call saying they are calling from Royal Mail because parcel hasn't been delivered twice as nobody was home and to press button for English or Chinese. Then the same message in Chinese. As I did not press a button, the call ended. (And I am not waiting for a parcel). I am very suspicious, as I never got a call from Royal Mail from a mobile number, they normally leave a notification behind to pick it up yourself. And why would they have the same message in Chinese as well?Fraud
