Insurance SPAM This number and very similar numbers have been calling me daily for a couple of weeks. I have missed the previous calls but answered today. A very well spoken man said he was calling from some company (I didn't catch the name) to do with my Scottish Widows life insurance. Have had two calls I'm in Australia so I say spam. I don't know anyone in the UK
Called at 5:15pm 6.7.23. Calling about solar panels being installed in your area and are you the owner of the house. I didn't go any further, just said 'Goodbye' and put the 'phone down. I am pretty sure that had I held on they would have wanted to arrange to come and see property about installing solar panels. I class this as 'dangerous' especially if they get through to vulnerable persons.
SCAM Female voice. The person pretended to be from a Bank. Whenever I heard the first few words I put the phone down because I realised that the call was a SCAM and that personal information was probably what was wanted.
