Fraud, said they were Virgin security. Went along with him for 3 mins, pressing buttons on my landline when he was telling me to go to AppStore. Then he asked about my phone line I said it was BT. He then said he was from BT. I didn’t point out at the start of the call he’d said he was from Virgin. He asked who provided my Internet connection, I said that I used to have the Internet but it broke about a year ago and as I didn’t use it I didn’t get it fixed. He hung up. Total call time, 5 minutes

SCAM / SPAM - Fraud. HMRC do not call, they write to you, This one said I'd be arrested for tax fraud if I did not press 1. Out of curiosity I pressed 1 and was told the police were going to be sent to arrest me. I told them I was a Tory voter and exempt from taxes. They swore at me and hung up
Dangerous scam call pretending to be from HMRC. Threatening immediate arrest for non-existent unpaid taxes unless you give them an immediate payment. Just end the call, don t press any keys and if they leave a voicemail don t call it back. There will be no legal consequences, they re just trying to scare you.
