An automated vioce usually, claiming various things, in this instance, claiming to be an automated message from my 'bank' regarding a suspicious £300 Amazon charge, it then asks you to press a button option to respond. Don't do it, as I recall, doing so ensures you will get put on a list for more calls, simply because a 'human' responded

SCAM called from 02035247544 first trying to get us to press the windows key on the computer and run a diagnostic, strung him along for a bit and then hung up. He called back on this number asking why we hung up on him, he sounded indian and the line was very bad. Told him I was with the TPS and we knew it was dodgy and hung up and blocked the number

Phone upgrades for o2?!, though my contract does not end for another two years. Stevenage area code. I said no thanks and hung them up, rang me again today, so potentially spam.
This was from a rude and abusive man with very poor English who claimed he was from carphone warehouse and when I said I wasn't interested he said he was also a police officer and was going to find out where I lived and beat me up, he was screaming abuse at me. This was entirely unprovoked as I am a very polite pensioner who never shouts and swears, I would recommend everyone to do as I have done and block this number.

SCAM - has to be. This number called me today. I do not answer unrecognised numbers. They left a voice mail, foreign voice, couldn't really pick up on everything said, voice was quite deep. They did say I needed to make a payment and to answer emails. Up until this mornings call I had had no emails asking for payment - not that I would answer them anyway. email in my Inbox purporting to be from Bulb (My Energy Company) - I have a DD with them they would not act in this way = DELETED !

You receive a genuine text message from O2 with a security code. Definite scam. Claimed (falsely) to be Harry from Carphonewarehous3 in London calling because "we have a special offer on new phones today". I live in Scotland, he's calling from London claiming to be a big phone store. They would never ring me like that, nor you either. How could he have got my number legitimately? He immediately went into "what phone are you using?" Obviously looking to sound like he could choose an upgrade whilst scamming you out of the cost of the non-existent
