A prerecorded Amazon prime scam.

SCAM txt telling me my Apple Pay has been suspended. & to click the link to get it sorted. I don’t use Apple Pay. Opened the PayPal app & checked that, all up & running ok on there. So obviously a scam. I fwd the txt to Action Fraud then blocked the number & deleted it.

Missed call - I have had 3 calls in one day - all from Northern Island but all different numbers: 02893535035 and 02894106936 and 02877079126. I don't know anyone from this area and they have not left a message. I have never had calls from this area previously, let alone 3 on the same day.
Scam call from chartistake.com seller. They knew partially my name and tried to get me into investing with them. Looking at reviews it's clear that victims of this page cannot withdraw their money, only deposit.

Didn't pick up as an unknown number and our landline is ex-directory known only to 2 other people as it is used only for elderly relatives to call who do not have mobile phones. The fact that this number is not listed anywhere and we do not use it ourselves would tend to indicate it is a spam or pfishing call.
Caller claimed to be from EE offering a 35% discount. Quality of Line suggests it was an international call in spite of the landline being a British number.
Definitely a scam, if you receive a text, do not click the link, just block the number and delete the text.

cold calling - they pretend to be linked to lots if Life Assurance companies and acting on their behalf. They are not. Was bored and made up some data, they they pass you to someone who tries to sell you a policy. They quote the FCA many times - but when pushed confirm they are not regulated by them. Called claiming to be Curry’s Pc World acting on behalf of network providers giving customers better deals. Phoned Curry’s to check legitimacy and they informed me this is definitely a scam as they don’t even have an outbound sales call team anymore and don’t act under the Currys Pc World name anymore, just ‘Curry’s’.
