This crap company has called about 4 times in past couple of weeks. Each time I requested that they remove my number from their database as I think they re dispicable, low life, preying on the vulnerable. A friend who had a car accident was totally taken in by a similar company, as they called the day after her accident, so she thought they were from her insurance company. Didn’t take the call on my landline but they left a pre recorded message informing me that my card had been used in a foreign transaction twenty minutes before and that I should press 1 to stop it. I rang the number from my mobile a couple of times and each time got the busy tone. I reckon it’s a poor attempt at a scam.
Indian man claiming to be from BT Openreach. He alleged that there was a problem with my internet connection and was trying to talk me into giving away personal/router/system details.
