They are not to be trusted and attempt to sell you Google Advertising whether that's getting you a 'top search result' or getting you reviews on your maps profile. 01202627797 called today. It was automated and said they were from Visa fraud team. They were holding a payment of £800 (and something) pounds which was a suspicious payment on a gambling site in America. I was told to press 1 if this wasn't me and to be connected to the fraud team. Obviously I just hung up, searched the number which didn't come up with anything, I checked my bank accounts and rang the bank's fraud number. As I thought, it was a scam.

SCAM claimed to be calling from sky to sort out my router which is apparently faulty. I said we are not having problems with internet speed and would call myself if I have any concerns. He hung up.

SCAM!!! We had a ‘New Customer’ approach us and ask for a quote so we sent over a New Customer form to make sure we could offer a credit facility. They filled in the details of a reputable company so passed the credit check. However, when it came to payment due date, the phone number they provided no longer works and emails are coming back with an automatic reply each time from various different email addresses. I have searched each of these email addresses and they show up on a few scam websites.

SCAM They said I won 50k and tried to persuade me to give them one time password that they sent to my number. But that text had a warning not to share the password with anyone, not even a member of a staff. So I simply hung up.

Automated message when you pick up that says ive avoided tax of some sort and that I need to press 1 to speak to someone to avoid it going to court. After pressing 1 it just goes silent and when you call it back it just says persons phone is switched off. Im based in Wales and call is from Manchester so will assume its a scam

Call from man with Indian accent - "your contract with Three is coming to an end". Me: "could you remind me of the number" - "the what?" - "the contract number" and he hung up. I think it's fair to say he was up to no good. And judging by the street view below, the number is likely spoofed as I can't see a boiler room operation going on in a highland village.

Tried scamming my grandma in Brazil

Obvious a spam email. Said I had placed an order with M&S but the email address was from a bookshop!

Claimed to be from EE offering me 33% off my mobile bill. Red flags: I’m not with EE, awful background noise on his call, calling me Ma’am and starting his sales pitch without even checking who I was. Hung up and blocked the number

Received a text asking if I fancy winning a MacBook Air? With a link to follow stating There we’re 10 up for grabs! What I don’t understand is how they even know my name. I tried dialling the number and it is not recognised. SCAM!!!!

Uber taxi driver that apparently moonlights as a food delivery driver too. Doesn't confirm the taxi job but says you don't turn up, costing you some of the fare. Just Google the number to see how much of a prat he is! Crybaby!
