Was trying also different formats of this number, but no luck. Rang claiming to be from BT. Stated that our internet would be disconnected for 4 days and that he needed access to our computer to "rewire" a temporary connection free of charge to bridge the gap. I m an IT consultant and so strung him along for a while to waste his time, then told him what I did for a living. He hung up. Not sure where the money angle was going to come from, but guarantee that they would have either infected my PC or tried to scam me out of money for a fake support contract.
Started yesterday with 2 call and the same today(so far) I never get chance to pick up call before they hang up. Have now put this number in phone to try to block them, so will wait and see if they manage to get through that. Good game, hope you all enjoy playing this at home!
