SCAM call received from this number today. Asked for me by name, having called on my ex-directory TPS registered landline number. Said he was Jamie from Pension Redress. As I haven’t asked for any contact from anyone, I hung up.

Upon answering it plays an automated about HMRC trying to send a letter that had been returned. Hung up after 1 sentence, but this is likely Fraud/SCAM.
They cold-call phoned me about renewal of insurance on kitchen white goods. They needed some banking details to alter the payment paperwork because they were giving me a no-claims discount. Knew enough about me to make this plausible. I 'needed to go to an appointment' [actually true] so I had to ask them to phone back tomorrow - which they were readily willing to do. Asian woman said her name was Carol (as if) told me I lived at a house I moved from in 2015. Asked who I had life insurance with and started arguing with me when I told her that's none of her business. She kept repeating aviva, bupa, sunlife is your life insurance with those. I kept saying its nothing to do with you. Then she hung up.
Appears to be a phishing scam. I got an ebay order confirmation for an item I did not order. This number was given for reporting fraudulent purchses. t sounds like an Indian caallcentre, and they attemted to get me to download Anydesk, in order to access my computer!!

Had a call from this number at 13.30 on 23/02/22. Upon answering i waited for the person to speak first, it was an asian sounding person in a call centre. As soon as they asked how i was today i asked straight out if they were a scammer to which they responded yes they were a scammer and a fraudster followed by oh my god repeated several times. I stated the call should now end and looked online to find number belongs to a sushi bar in London so this number was spoofed/cloned and not the genuine number.
