Said was from EE PROMOTIONAL team. Hung up as EE CALL from their contact centres and appear as an 03 number and not a domestic landline number. Caller was indian from their accent and dialect. Likely using a voip set up . Do not give details and hang up.

Hi, just had a call from an Asian bloke who said my Internet connection had wires crossed in my house and its causing a network problem. He claimed to be BT. I didn't tell him that BT don't run the network it's Open Reach. Also didn't tell him I'm not a BT customer. I ended the call.

I was in a different room but heard a voice coming from the phone. How can they do that? The voice had gone by the time I got to the phone and I was too far away too hear what it said, but I have now blocked it as no one I know would do that.

Call received regarding the 20 interest I paid to the HMRC for my PPI claim that I should be able to claim backquot Woop Woop the excitement I felt was a big fat ZERO as I have never made a PPI claim and if I did should the company I did the claim with not contact me to arrange the refund to me I advised the lovely lady who loved calling me Ms Amanda that I am not interested in the scam or in giving them any of my bank details and to remove me from the database immediately

Got a call from this number, can’t find any search about this number. Too noisy! First said it was from Sky, (knew my name and address), said my contract ended now in begin of April, I corrected saying it was only next month. He said he was working for Amazon and needed to track down who had ordered 2 mobile phones from Amazon using my bank details (which he had) but had arranged to be delivered to an address that was not mine. To do this he wanted me to go into my bank app and arrange a transfer of £5000 to an account for which he provided and which my bank cleared as existing. I went along with it up to the point of transfer and he then became pressing and agitated.
