Just had a call from them (again!). Each time, they show a slightly different number, so I have to add a new number to my blocked list. A quick tip for iPhone users: just press one of the volume buttons. It stops ringing for you, but not for them.
'Dave', aledgedly from BT, rang to say my internet speed was very slow. To fix it, he needed remote access to my computer or smart phone. I told him I was recording the call and he hung up. Clearly a scam call. Working from a script and not able to cope with my many questions!
Missed call - Claims to be Amy Lacey from "The Bank" - no details given but requests call back on the mobile number. Does not feel legitimate to me.
