God knows. More and more of these numbers attempting to call give no information when Googled and I m not going to attempt to return the call!

Called today, asked for me by name (worrying as he said he got my number from price comparison sites, not possible as I always give 999999etc) said he was phoning to overhaul my life insurance .I have been registered with TPS and ex directory for decades.

Dodgy call saying there s a warrant out for my arrest unless I press 1!!!

They say that they have loan application when infact they only have your name and number. if you pay them a fee and then they promise to call you in 48 hours, you will never hear from them again and may block your number - ho and empty your bank account. They called at 13.58 on Friday 12th June, 2020. A Fllipino sounding young man. Asked me questions about mortgage and life insurance. He was polite, and reassured me that he wasn't selling anything. The survey lasted only about 90 seconds. Probably he will pass my data to some marketing firm and they will then perhaps try to sell me something, which of course I'll refuse. This number calls a LOT especially as I have asked twice to be removed from their database. Excel services wanting to service a dyson we do not have. Just had a call today, VERY rude girl. I told her we had already asked to be taken off the database, we don t have a dyson. She said that s why she s got us down as non-dyson. So they can make a note of that bit but not the fact that we re not interested?! I ended up hanging up, she was just so unpleasant.

It was a Northumbria Water call alert about a leak in the area. A visit to the website confirmed that there was a local problem. (Why can't these companies publish the numbers they use to make calls?)

Pre-recorded message saying I ve won an iPad or £500 and to press "2" to be called back in 24 hours. Blocked.

When asked the caller couldn t tell me the address of the company although eventually said it was Erskine House in Clydebank but she didn t know the street etc. I did ask how she found her way to work but the answer was that she walked! Apparently there was "funding available" and when asked who funded it she said "scrappage windows".

Caller said he was from Microsoft. Said that my PC had been compromised by hackers. After leading him on for a while I asked him straight if he was after money. He said that he was trying to help but then threatened to lock up my computer. I hung up.
