I checked my o2 account today and it said that i have 4.50 3 times this month of a company called ume ltd.i live text o2 they told me to text stop to them and to call them for a refund .i tried to call them but goes to answer phone and to leave name and number and will contact me in 2 working days. I live text o2 this evening and they have barred 3rd party on my account and given me their email to complain i think this is a scam and a goverment one ps authority.org .uk .hopefully i can get my money back

Caller was an Indian man giving the name of James from a “health” company- have had similar calls before from different numbers so obviously a call centre, want to know details of your vaccination status, etc, then ends up with a “life cover review” and asks you to accept new life cover from them. Caller did not like fact I knew this and I immediately said I am not looking to review my life cover, he told me to “grow up” and hung up!

I’ve experienced a very odd phone call this afternoon. Automated phone call as soon as I said “hello” the automated phone call started. “Your name has been used in a fraud claim, from the HMRC. Wanted to speak to whoever was dealing with a job advetisement, when asked what company they were from they refused tried to make out they were an individual calling about the vacancy. When number was dialled back they answered the Phone as Western Times. So blatantly lied to get through.
