A large number of people have been called by the criminals using this fictitious number according to other sites. Their aim is to gain the confidence of people and persuade them to allow access to their computers so they can infect them. Yesterday I was out all day and when I returned I found no less than five calls from a slightly different but equally fictitious number, 01614379874, but still equally recognisable as fake from anyone who has had so many of these calls as I have. Hi All , I had a miss call today from the number of 02033756307 , So I called that number to find out who tried to call me and someone answered the phone and When Enquired about it he mentioned my name and a I asked what he wanted he asked me whether I had a loan with few banks and It was true I had loans in the past and then I asked him where did he get my information from ? he said from different sources and they are trying to obtain some information to claw back some of the money banks might have deduc

Keep ringing! Have repayment plan in place - have now blocked number but unfortunately call still appears on other phones around the house. Twice daily calls - very annoying

Who is this company? receving calls everyday sometimes up to three times a day when you call back it is an automated voice cannot make out the company name

It is a scam and we did transfer money but stopped order..all the amounts are for just over 2k paid into our account and we transferred just under 2k back into their bank. you ll see the money go into your account then they re desperate for you to pay the overpaid balance, they then cancel the dodgy cheaque within 2 days...Don t do it, the tel number is bogus and so is the address...

Called asking for confirmation of my address to send details about investing in modern art - hung up when I told him no way was I going to confirm anything

said they were windows support trying to get you to buy 9 years or antivirus, said pc was full of viruses showed me a fake list, as it s a clean pc inside a virtual machine running on a mac,

I answered and there is a delay for 2 seconds before the automated message starts telling you to urgently press option 5 to claim your PPI. I hung up, there was no way I was pressing option 5 and probably getting charge ?1,000 a minute!!
