Call center / SCAM Initially received a strange call supposedly from a call centre in Laos saying they were calling on behalf of Accenture Recruitment UK. I was then contacted by this number via WhatsApp & they have been relentlessly trying to get me join a part time job opportunity to make extra income with very little effort for a company called 'Dynatrace' even though I have repeatedly said that I am not interested. This number called me on 28.04.23. Supposedly, a message from my bank to inform that my debit card had been used for suspicious purchases. To cancel the 2 transactions and speak to an agent press 1, which I did. A woman with a very strong foreign accent requested my name, date of birth and address in order to make the cancellation. She then asked for my card sort code, which rang alarm bells. I told her that if she was calling from my bank she should already know that and I would ring them. She hung up.
"Household maintenance"; I'm not the homeowner and I imagine any maintenance calls regarding Glasgow would not be coming from Kent.
