Said it was from EE, offering to apply a discount to my account. Not sure about the authenticity of the caller so declined.

They may want to sell you mobile phone service or talk to you about an existing contract

a man that sounded as if he came from india or pakistan called me Wednesday 24th February 2016 at 5.40pm while I was in my car in traffic with my 2 kids in the back. Wanted to sell me something. I asked repeatedly who he was, where he got my number and where he was calling from. He hanged up. He immediately called me back and all he said very loudly and aggressively YOU F****** B**CH! and hanged up. I was very upset and the kids were distressed. I called the number back and it immediately want dead.

Just received a phone call from them asking to verify the second part of the address and then demanded to pay the bill now as we may get charged if we keep delaying it. once I told them that I will pay the bill tomorrow they kept demanding me to pay it now. Called me many times for the past few days and every time I pick up there s no sound at all.

This number, and a few others like it, have been calling me at random hours of the night, and play an automated message claiming to be from paypal, and telling me that there is an urgent security issue, and I need to verify my account details. It s clearly not from paypal, and is a way of scamming people.

Called back (masking my number) only to hear a message say the number is not currently in use and is available for sale (BT might have something to say about that?!) and to contact a mobile number - I hung up - this needs to be followed up by someone
