Came through to my mobile as suspected spam blocked by provider so my phone didn't ring read reviews so marked it dangerous

I think its a scam. Curry don't give offers like that... they trying to steal personal data

SCAM - Number associated with a scam email requesting users to renew their BT contract as "it is expiring".

SCAM dont answer, if the scammer sees the phone is active, they will sell your number to spam call lines etc as an active phone. Stay safe folks

Recieved call from UK (I am from Germany) that my identity card is being used in fraudful activities.

SPAM - eventually answered as a call centre for the "housing maintenance team" asking how I was. Hung up, blocked and reported. This is a newish number as well so either autodialing or selling numbers again.

Fed up of calls from this number and similar Daventry numbers, rings 3 to 4 times , no one there. Presume its automated phishing call. Blocked now

Received a letter supposedly from Thames water with this number - the person it was sent to was never the account holder and it looks like this is a scam

Claim to be calling for my unnamed bank about suspicious charges from Amazon and an international money transfer. Wanted me to key in a response to speak with an “adviser”. Seems to be a scam/phishing for bank information.

FraudFemale recorded voice with American accent (very amateurish) saying they were HMRC and that I had been reported for tax evasion. The case has been reported to the police and would be brought before a magistrate. "Press 1 to speak to a HMRC agent", Obviously I didn't. This country has some of the most advanced telecomms technology in the world. WHY can't the authoriries (Police, BT, the Regulator) take down these numbers?

Voicemail received from a Cardiff number claiming to be a new neighbour & asking for help (I live in North East England). Interesting that the same number has been searched over 100 times... Very suspicious - did not return call

Scam - offered to come and do free security check and install cameras to elderly resident, he didnt sign anything, they took his information and charged him for the free consultation, and installation of 8 camera (non installed or agreed too). SCAM- 0128 240981 I've been bombarded by calls from similar 0128 numbers for past couple weeks. I finally answered this one today (28th October) and it was a lady with an oversees accent with echoey background noise saying she was from the National Debtline. She knew my name and kept asking me to confirm it but I didn't and I kept asking who she was then hung up when she said she was from the debtline. They don't cold call you and it's a totally different number so I blocked it.

This is my house telephone number in Oswestry Shropshire. A 90 year old lady in some distress phoned me on this number today to ask why I had been contacting her. She told me she lives in Eastbourne and had been contacted from a number purporting to be from this one asking for finacial information. I explained I had not phoned her but it was probably a phishing scam and suggested she blocked it. I feel I needed to report this scam and this number on her behalf. Scum does not adequately label these people.
