When you answer your phone and if it s a number you don t recognise, DON T SPEAK JUST LISTEN! Wait for the caller to speak first and then decide whether to simply put the phone down. If it s a recorded message, it ll nearly always be a scam or a computer dialling a batch of numbers in sequence and trying to assertain if the number they have just dialled is a voice line. i.e. a private phone number. 14 calls from this number in 3 days, getting annoyed now, number is blocked. Number claims its the cooperative bank fraud department.
I ve just been called by this number, when I picked up the call, there was no sound, no answer, so I ended the call, then got a withheld number calling literally a minute later, which went to voicemail (the message was unintelligable). Then a minute later I got an SMS to my mobile from 08447362490 asking them to call back on that number. Searching that number indicates it s from Link Financial Outsourcing, a debt collection company.

Exoticca Sales Phone call from their employee, Vin, during which he discussed the fact that Exoticca continues to withhold illegally (ECC Packaged Holiday Directive) over 2700 pounds sterling that I paid for a holiday that I paid to Exoticca and which they cancelled prior to the holiday.
I have blocked their number but somehow they are managing to leave unintelligible voice mails. Can anybody help me stop them. They are a SCAM!!
