I have not answered to these people. Not once. Yet, they call at least weekly. I ve got a years line rental with BT paid for up-front, which allows me to block 99% of unwanted calls (with a BT blocker phone purchased separately, in case anyone was wondering). This caller would likely be asking to speak with Mr Strevitt or Mr Gwendoline. As has been the nature of the calls for the past 3 years. Not sure, but seemed to want all my ID details to confirm the refund I was to receive in couple of days, and was vague about who was calling, claimed to be some sort of Financial Authority. Number is Manchester area, and with all due respect to friends in Manchester, apart from Blackburn Lancashire, a call centre dialled call from Manchester rings more alarm bells than phone bells.

I answered the call as i had been getting many of them from very similar but different numbers and when i picked up i waited for a answer and said hello? but then my caller hung up but i did not respond back. SCAM it is a man who comes from a date app and start texting and says he loves you and want to marry you then he suddenly has a new contract job in Asia (Malaysia) but he requests your address because he will send some gifts and when he come back from his "mission job" he will buy tickets to visit wherever you are. Then you text and the number has been blocked and he mysteriously vanishes from the earth. Be careful.
