As of writing, 3 different numbers tried to call me today (020 8956 2943, 020 8956 2230 and 020 8956 2601). They all start with 020, I don’t know anyone who owns those numbers, maybe the same individual is using different numbers to call me. Likely a fraud and now it’s harassing.

They called me today claiming to have got my number from LinkedIn. My LinkedIn profile does not have a phone number, in fact LinkedIn keep asking me to add one. They mumbled something about indirect tax and I hung up.

This number has called twice now. Can't comment on who or what it is because my landline phone range once each time! No doubt it is some unsolicited spam or similar.

Im no idiot and i told them to remove my number and to not call again. I still keep getting 2 to 3 calls a day which i declined then blocked the number. someone claiming to be from O2 called me just now from this number. They were offering a 30% discount on all my bills until the end of my contract, asked me if I wanted to go ahead and told me I would get two text messages with a code I needed to read back to them. Usefully, the text messages were from O2 (the caller had gone into my profile and done a forgotten password which triggers the texts) but the messages said very clearly not to share the info with anyone, even if they claim to be working from O2.
