These are Agents, probably working for Energy Consultants. The prices they get for you will include a significant commission. They will lie and harass you into agreeing contracts. These people keep calling my mobile number and asking for the complete wrong person! I have told them on numerous occassions that they have the wrong number and to remove my contact information but it obviously goes in one ear and out the other! I have blocked this number from my phone number but I would like to officially report the problem so if anyone knows how to do this please share. Thanks

Number calls from an automatic dial and then when you answer if they have no operators available it hangs up. Had at least five calls in one day.

When I phoned them they said the company was RED STAR asking if I had credit problems.

A man with an Asian accent claimed to be from the Internet Security Department of BT, reporting a problem with my computer. I just told him that I am not with BT (true) and can t understand why BT didn t know that, and I hung up. This change of approach could be dangerous though because those with a BT connection might think it is genuine.

Are based in Scotland with no known office in 01305 exchange area. Have calls from Scotland re-routed through local exchange numbers in order to persuade people to answer a local number. If you call it back, then the call is again re-routed back to their Scotland office. Not sure if this is an illegal practice under telephony legislation, but would be interested if anyone can come up with the legislation about having calls re-routed to give the answering CLI the impression that the call is local.
