Upon answering a call on the land line around 18:30 this evening, the caller hung up so out of curiosity I dialled 1471 (UK), the call back service and I pressed 3 on my phone to be put directly through to the missed call number. I didn t catch the receivers company name but heard a American or maybe Canadian Man s accent and instructions for extension required. Didn t leave a message. Googled the number, seems to be the old (and tired) Amazon Prime scam.

Called me saying had been in an accident in Glasgow. Told them haven t. Said I was a passenger! Never been in an accident and soon as a said FRAUD CASE she hung up on me. Been ringing for days!

Addressed me by full name also. Local country code and evening call, but sounded like a big call centre in background. Asked about industrial hearing injuries.
