Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 14136723xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with usual accident chasers, PPI, insurance marketing - holly trinity of nowadays telemarketing. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). People did they call you with something new, new scope?

How about this for a strategy. Book an appointment with their rep as whatever they are selling is "just what I need". Confirm the appointment when they phone to check the day before or the day of the appointment. When the rep arrives make sure you have a friend there, and tell the rep that while they keep annoying you with calls then you will keep annoying them with wasted appointments.

In looking up this number and reading the above info - I now realise its a dodgy number - its somehow hacked into my voicemail wanting me to enter a pincode to verify my voicemail( something I ve never ever done)This is noting to do with my present phone company - which was what I was looking to verify.
