Apparently it s carphone warehouse but as soon as I answered they hung up and didn t call back

This number has been spoofed so that it appears as the CLI of the caller when it has no relationship to the people originating the call. This number was assigned to a legitimate business in Surrey. They have now changed their number. The spoofing still carries on and people are getting missed call messages with this number on their mobiles and landlines. Scum, keep bothering me about minor accident which i had ages ago. I have asked them to bother me again, no result.

Caller advised they were from "Chase Alexander" - asked for me by name - regarding RTC. I asked when was the RTC (last one I had was 2011), they replied in the last 2 years. Told them the last RTC was before that. They asked if they had their records mixed up with someone else at my address. I asked what address they had for me and they hung up. Sounds like they are trying to obtain personal details - possible vishing scam - AVOID!!!

Been getting calls and messages day, night and bank holidays from two numbers and not sure why. I do not answer, but when they leave a message they do not explain who they actually are, nor what it is about. The other number is 01482 618100, which I assume is related to 01482 483281. Don t fall into their traps...

I get about 3 calls from this number each day I have never answered them

DO NOT ANSWER - Scam call from an Asian call centre, openly admitting to charging a premium rate for connecting your call. They begin the conversation stating they are a government scheme aimed at helping pay back loans etc. I received racial abuse from the caller while trying to get information out of him. Have checked all phone records to see if any charges have come through but none as yet, but am unaware if the included minutes have covered this somehow. BLOCK & REPORT.

Safe to answer, they are a broker who got me a great finance deal on my car. Not nuisance callers.
