Domestic and General asking me if I wanted to have breakdown cover for my fridge freezer and cooker as well as my washing machine ( which I currently have). A bit insistent when I said no, and asked why so when I said ‘because I don’t want to’ she ended the call. It was quite a friendly manner but as above, quite pushy. This number called me at 07:25 with an automated message saying they were from Amazon and that I should call them back, the line was very crackly.

Had a call from this number today. Automated voice message saying someone trying to use £800 from debit card for a gambling place in the USA. They said they was from the fraud team. It also said they were not letting that £800 to come off debit card until I had spoken to someone. It tells you to press 1 to speak to an agent. I didn't want to speak to anyone so I put the phone down. The Automated voice sounded very familiar. People please don't fall for this.

SPAM - called and left no message! If any call in my opinion is legitimate, a voicemail message should be left giving the recipient a chance to return the communication after careful consideration! Normally if the caller is reluctant to leave voicemail it’s because they are trying to extract info out of you via questionable means without any recourse. If that’s not the case then surly a voicemail with their info would be reasonable would it not ?

Scam call saying i have been involved in a car accident
SCAM Fraud Banking Firstly, a test message was received on a mobile saying it was the Fraud department of a Credit Card company and they would be calling about “recent activity from your card. Expect a call from our Fraud team. Please wait for our call”. That was followed 2mins later by a phone call to the same mobile number saying it was from 02071934897 (London). Not a number associated with a Credit Card company! The male caller asked for the additional card holder by name but hadn’t called that person
