A man called claiming to be from TPS, as I was already registered it was a ‘customer verification call’ ( never had to do this before nor is it on the TPS website) claimed my registration only applied to local calls only, he could apply the block to international calls, I questioned him and he bacame aggressive, would not answer my questions and came out with the same spiel ‘customer verification call’ I hung up and have blocked the number.

Called the number (0330....5) in the morning and couldn't get through. 5. Called Three, told them about all the information I'd sought out and how good they'd been. Message left on home phone allegedly from the Bank of Scotland Fraud section asking for me to call them with a code number due to apparent activity on my account. Phoned the number supplied and they said they did not recognize my phone number and as such wanted my card number and sort code - which I refused to supply. Subsequently contacted my bank who confirmed that this IS DEFINITELY A SCAM and is not the way in which they operate.
