when I picked up the phone, it went into a message, saying that I was called today by a financial advisor

The callers are NOT british and they are NOT calling from Cardiff Wales (even though thats the number showing on calls). They are trying to con UK residents, dangerous callers. Dont answer their calls.

Missed the call, others claim it's another computer generated survey call - so I've blocked it.

SCAM / SPAM Indian/Pakaistan/Bangladesh accented male phoned me to offer monthly repair cover on my washing machine. Could offer as a one-off an 18month cover for £99 - paid by debit or credit card now. The monthly cover is by direct debit - presume they would want my account details for that. I couldn't understand the gentleman very well. He asked me to confirm my name and when I refused he became rather flustered. He asked me again and I said "No, you called me. You should know who I am." I have asked this number to stop ringing me, I have tried being polite and rude and still they pester me.

BEWARE - scammer. 2nd identical call today. A male with an Indian accent told me his name was Winston and he was calling from BT. I asked him what my BT account number is, but he did not answer and said he was calling because of a problem with my router / browser. The number was falsified - when I tried calling it back, it did not connect.

This line should belong to some company, but no remark on internet about it. Haven't found any info for this one, does anyone have some experience with this number? Be aware if this number calls, it is for a shared costs, so better not to call back. Have checked also different formats of this number, but no luck. As people do search for this number, it should be used, so be aware.
