I was called on my landline from someone who politely announced himself as Sam from 'Windows Ltd' He then inquired was I the home owner at this property? When I asked him how precisely that was his business, he simply said 'Goodbye'. Perhaps my response was not in his script.
Very annoying calls despite asking a man with an Indian accent trying to sell the Cigma TV. I have to block his number. He was very unprofessional and rude.

This number phoned me at 16.31 this afternoon. It sounded as if there was an office or similar room with people talking. When I asked who was calling, without giving my name, a lady said "good afternoon, how are you today?" I asked again who was calling. the lady said " your father" and hung up. I will be blocking this number henceforth.

Suggests they are from your bank (but they don't tell you which one because they don't know) Informs you by automated call that large transfers have been made out of your account (which is rubbish). They hope you will be daft enough to talk to them so they can obtain your bank details. Why the Police and Telephone companies still allow these fraudsters to operate it beyond me.

Just noticed this number on my Vodafone call list at a cost of £2.82 for 0 seconds!! Certainly don’t remember calling this number and getting through to a human at Vodafone is virtually impossible unless you are prepared to set aside at least an hour of your time ????

I got an email from PayPal, saying I purchased a cell phone & that payment is now due. I called the number on the invoice from PayPal, a man with a thick indian accent answered & struggled to speak good English to explain himself. He asked me for the invoice number & said that a purchase was made IN MY NAME although my opening remarks were 'I don't have a PayPal account but I received an email requesting payment for a purchase' - when I asked him 'what's my name?' he hung up! Call center. Said name was Martin from the Rethink Energy Company, wanting information about the house. Claimed had been asked by energy companies to contact households in my postcode area. I said if I wanted advice I would seek it myself, not from a company I didn't know. Internet search shows that there is a Rethink Energy Ltd, but no Rethink Energy Company.
