I received call from this number claiming to be reporting that my desktop computer had been hacked. Suspicious. Caller broke off when I expressed doubts about veracity of his claims.

Fraud A man saying his name was James from 'Ultro' my network provider. I hung up as I've never heard of that network provider and it's certainly not mine.

Said they were BT, I had too many people using my IP. The account name was wrong. They said they could block them from their server, but it would be better from my PC. After my challenges they sent a text message with a verification code. It said to change my password. I did. Had one previously, real BT support said it was a scam. Assumed this identical call was too. Only the false account name was a clue, otherwise how can you tell?
An oriental person claiming to be from Microsoft about my computer, didn't sound right so I put the phone down I think it's a scam, Microsoft have never rung me up ever

He didnt give me a number but tried to say he could prove he was from the FCA bu searching their site for a reference number - the ref number linked to a real person but not someone who worked for the FCA. I hung up and they dint call back - I called the number and it said it couldn't be connected - SCAM

Two calls from this number with a recorded voice message claiming £700 has been drawn on our account to Amazon and further £2000 cash transfer, then a couple of number options to press to speak to someone. Needless to say, I hung up. Yet another time-wasting and potentially dangerous scam.
This phone no. belong to a very dedicated removal company, I first thought are some scammers but after a took the call I realize they are removal company and they did a great job for an amazing price.

SCAM call from BITWEST Group which is a scam
This UK mobile number called my mobile and it was an automated voice saying it was about my "Visa OR Mastercard" (which one?) and that £600 had been spent on it 15 minutes ago. Press 1 to stop the payment. I did not press anything and hung up.
Well, they phoned earlier and a recorded message informed me, that it was my banks security department, which it obviously wasn't, the number trace showed a call the Russian Federation, RED FLAG. She said, Somebody has accesed your account and made a £600 purchase fron Amazon and a £2,000 transfer to an international account, RED FLAG I politely told her to stop trying t scam people and she immediately hang up, basically, our phone providers should block these calls, as we are paying to receive them!
