This is a genuine NHS number. They use it to call patients to cancel/alter appointments mostly. They cannot leave messages on answerphones because of confidentiality issues.
Called a number in Australia obviously a scam number probably piggy backing on another number or a number not in use.

Called by this number on 5th may. I`m told my someone has tried to take two payments totaling thousands from my account. The man did`nt mention my name but said he`d transfere me to another department. If the transaction was wrong. He also did`d mention what card or bank was being threatened. Since I rarely have more than £50 in the bank , Itake it as a case of rotten cheese.

Asked for email address as I didn't have the time to speak, told them to send me an email as they seemed to have my info, but he could only confirm my name, so I hung up. Scam exceptionally aggressive Micheal Masterson (suspect not his real name) bitcoin salesman who said to a female, quote "I'm recording this and all your calls, you are not even a human to me, I'm going to report you to the financial industry standards, you dickhead, do you want me to report you for not answering my questions?" I'd told him that I was not interested in and that I had told the previous 43 callers the same! Does the phone blocking facility ever get full? Hope not.
