Tried to get me to say "yes" by repeatedly asking if I could hear her. I said " I can hear you, I do not want you to call me, take your number off your list." She said she was market, would ask a few questions, it wouldn't take long. I hung up.
This was a missed call but when I called it back I realised it was my energy company. I think they want an electric meter reading. So no problems with them calling me as I had given them my number. Not a nuisance call.

This is a scam concerning your credit score. Fortunately, I had checked my score the previous day and there was nothing untoward, in fact I had the top score of 999. Maybe I should have let the caller, who had an extremely thick foreign accent, continue but I didn’t let him get further than saying there were bad markers against my name. He did have my correct name.

Just had the same call from "George Henderson" went along with his lies just to see what he was up to. No doubt after bank details. Or cash to be paid into a dodgy account. I feel sorry for vulnerable people who may fall for this scam. As if the Government have ever given anything away!!
