Fraud Pretended to be from O2 about our bill. Wanted to send email and one time code. Clearly not from O2 or Manchester - unless the Manchester accent has changed recently

FAKE recorded call, claiming to be Inland Revenue and threatening a fine or jail if IO did not press 1.

SCAM - Called said hello - laughed as if they thought their scam was hilarious and couldn't keep a straight face then hung up.

SCAM person called zak from london wanting to run a promotion on a new phone. I said Im really sorry i just had one and said goodbye, as he wanted to run through a few details with me.

Do not know who it is so it must be a scam don't answer

Tried to say they were from a solicitor and were ringing me cos I was irresponsible in loans.They rang over 10 times yesterday and kept hanging up when I answered.Today they said this.I laughed and told them they were ridiculous.

Told they were Microsoft ringing from Reading became abusive when wouldn’t do what he wanted!

Person pretending to be from British gas but part of the annoying people pissing off for energy contracts

An Asian accented female called from this number. Insisting she was from Vodafone. Said she had a deal for me and was given my number to offer this great deal but no details about my contract. I said she should have my contract, she said no, this went back and forth. The deal was worse then my current contract. I said she was wasting my time. She said I was wasting hers and got rude. I said your behaviour and comments implies your are not Vodafone and are most likely a scam. She put the phone down

Cold call received mid-morning. Disrespectful, pushy and unprofessional. No contact from this local business ever before, yet rang using over-familiar approach and demanding to talk about IT and security contracts. No evidence of who they were, except their say so. This is not someone that you would wish to talk to blind on the phone and not a business that thinks about their approaches and the need to safeguard their prospective customers against "fishing expeditions". Man with a thick Indian accent rang claiming to be from BT ringing about the internet slowing down at the house. He had my name and address and postcode. When I asked what my account number was he reeled off a number (which later check was wrong). I said I’d call by back and he gave me an 0333 number saying it was BT customer service. Rubbish! Very clever scammers trying to gain access to your internet where they can steal your bank details etc

Received automated call today at 14.30 requesting I respond to suspicious bank transactions with Amazon plus another alleged purchase. i did not respond

This is a scam number, they pretend to be from Carphone Warehouse. As soon as I mentioned I don’t need anything, he ended the call. It was from a noisy Indian call centre. I blocked the number and added it here.

WhatsApp message claiming to be from large firm of solicitors Latham amp Watkinson LLP offering me a job

SCAM - obvious fake call, automated message about unpaid tax, magistrates court etc. Option to click 1 to make payment or some such rubbish.

Received today at 16.27 from: 07486 599 597 the following text message, which read, QUOTE: - hey mum I smashed my phone and I'm using a friends phone to msg you their phone is about to die can you whatsapp me on 07553 496 236

Another scam call from "The Advisors", trying to sell premium savings on life insurance. 'Paul' tells me their website is at theadvisors.co.uk - visiting that results in a rather empty webpage from the domain owner trying to sell the domain for £800. No proper website in place! It's the second call I've got from 'Paul' at The Advisors this week, I blocked his previous number, which was 07723553123. You can spot a pattern in these numbers, they're 0772355xxxx.
