The organisation using this number are expert scammers. They already had my o2 mobile phone number, contract account number and asked me to confirm my address before offering a discount on my tariff. I was aware it was a scam and played dumb for a while until they sent me the text which would have given them full access to my account had I replied to it. After wasting their time for 10 minutes, I told them I knew they were scammers and they became very abusive, then misscalled my number around 20 times

Phoned me. Background noise suggested I was being called from an overseas call centre. Caller had an Asian accent. When I started to ask where her company was based she replied “ Manchester”. When I asked further questions she put the phone down on me. Suspicious.
Called my mobile while I was driving. Although I have hands-free I did not answer because it was an unrecognised number. Once home I looked it up on several sites; on other sites other people have left reports of a scam, fake calls purporting to be Virgin Media etc. I have blocked the number.
I believe the email I received regarding a BT bill is a scam like several previous ones as the address is not a BT one. This is the phone number quoted in the email.

I received a phone call from +44 20 8097 5643 claiming I recently responded to a social media ad (I didn't). The scam company is 'Apollo.Expect' their website is https://apollo.expert/ and the caller claimed they were based in oxford and major cities across Europe. There is nothing online about the company so I immediately knew it was a scam. After reminding them they are in breach of GDPR the call immediately ended.

Normally they offer to renew at a discount if you give them your card details. NEVER give out personal details or bank details to anyone who phones you. I answered a call from this number, and heard a male at the other end of the line with the sound of other people in the room. He didn’t answer immediately, and after a short while asked if I could hear him, to which I, possibly foolishly replied “Yeah, yeah”. The phone was not put down at his end, but there was no reply when I tried to communicate at which point I ended the call.

I have received 3 text messages from a number claiming to be BTBusiness asking me to call them back at this number or text STOP to 60251. As I don't have an account with BT at all, I've ignored them but 3 messages in 3 days is a bit annoying.
