SCAM / SPAM the caller said they were from BT and had found a download fault with my computer and asked for remote access. He said his name was Adam but sounded like he was from a distant foreign country. When I accused him of running a scam he hung up. How rude :-)

Automated call claiming to be from VISA's security dept. concerning about two payments - £400 and £700 - that had allegedly been taken from my VISA card this morning. Press 1 to . . . etc. No identifying information at all. Nothing to make this in anyway personal to me . . . I'm assuming scam (but will check!) If it is then I hope all of their teeny, tiny genitalia get scrotum rot and drop off, and that they all suffer short but incredibly painful deaths!

Call from India or Pakistan but claiming to be from BT Open Reach telling me my router was slow and could I give them all sorts of bits of sensitive information. So enjoy wasting their time.

Not sure what to label this - the call came on my work phone, no introduction, just an automated voice saying I would lose my national insurance number in court if I don't press '1' then it went silent, so I assume they wanted me to press the number and give them my bank deets

07979532983 called 10May23 at t1:21hrs left msg on ansa machine same recorded message as was received ON 05/05/2023: 020704859199 called 5 May 23 at 14:40hrs, recorded message.... along the lines... "Two debits to your ???? account, one £300 from Amazon, the other from an overseas authority... both look suspicious, press 1 to approve payment, or 2 to talk to us". Scam call, female recorded voice saying saying “this is bank security, we have noticed that a payment of £300 has been sent to Amazon and another by international bank transfer of £1,100. If this has not been authorised by you please press 1 for bank security or 2 to talk to someone from bank”

Rang saying they were from Openreach. My landline is cable with Virgin so I wouldn't need to be contacted by them. Hung up on them as probably a scam.

Fraud - Called pretending to be Carphone Warehouse offering cheap deals on phones. They ask for bank details and try to gather as much information from you as possible - not sure of the exact scam but no reputable company cold calls you.

So called ppi refund companies trying to demand money for services without providing relevant information
