I believe this to be a scam as it left a part recorded message about bank transfers or purchases to amazon and another firm £5000 and £11,000 if this is not correct please press 1.........fortunately my answer machine can't do that.

I moved house four months ago. I have a private and protected landline number (used to be called ex-directory). I have a call from this number at 7.15 pm on a Sunday evening??? How and why?? I'll just block it but I shouldn't have to and telephone numbers should NOT be shared by whoever and however my private number was made available.
Pre-recorded female voice (American accent) purporting to be HMRC but number coming up on iPhone as Newquay area. Couldn't clearly hear what was said but usual message engineered to put people under pressure while offering a "Press number 1" type option to be put through to scammers most likely. This number has been calling most days since the last week of October. Unfortunately, I try and avoid answering unknown numbers, so I have no idea who or what is calling.
Check your bank statements after receiving a call from these scammers, they will enrol you even if you decline their offer. All connected to Easylife & the DRMG group & will use your bank account details that you submitted when you purchased from Easylife !

This no is from someone providing loans and they say that you have cleared all checks and you have 100% been accepted for the loan you just need to pay £41 to make it a secured loan this is so they can see that they can afford the repayments but another company would only take a £1 to confirm your card is yours and working then they give u it back if what they say is what it's for a copy of your bank statement would be more than sufficient not and the caller id no is false SCAM
