Received a cold call saying something about windows before I put down

SCAM INSURANCE COLD CALL

claiming to be from microsoft a lot of back ground noise sounding like a school play ground. When asked was this a scam the call was cut off.

Would not get off line.requested to remove no.from database.declined .told to get off line did so reluctantly!!!

Received call from this number 5 mins ago say they are from Talk Talk BEWARE SCAMMERS

Caller hung up when I answered the call from this number. Presume it is an auto dialling system

A con, tell them to get stuffed..then try ringing back the number.......you can t...seems like this is becoming common now

Didn t answer the call and came here to check the number. Lots of these apparently foreign numbers are actually originating in the UK by using software diallers that mask the caller s true location.As other posters suggest, a good rule of thumb is - if the number looks suspicious it probably is.

just had a call from this number, they knew my name, but when i asked who they were they hung up on me

Usual PPI / car accident / similar sort of claim cold call. Blocked number. These people must be utterly shameless. I couldn t sit at a desk with a headset on being told to get lost (or worse) 100 s of times a day. Still, it s a job I suppose but I d rather be unemployed than lower myself to this sort of thing!

I m receiving calls from Red Star Financial Management on a weekly basis now. Often twice a week. It s the usual robocalls: My phone rings (either my landline of my smartphone), I answer it, a recorded voice comes on to say, "Please wait while an adviser attends your call", and most times some poor young loser introducing him or herself from Red Star Financial Management asks questions about a bank loan I may have taken out in the 17th century. Received several calls from this no. but never had anyone on the line. When I tried calling back, recorded message said no-one available to take call and to try later.

Asked the same question, "have u been involved in non fault accident recently"? I asked what s their name and what company they are working for. At that point scam lady hang up.
