I am on a telephone preference but this one got through all I got was I am speaking on behalf of and then the phone went dead

Someone called me from this number and asked me if I was "my own name". I stupidly confirmed it and then confirmed my email address. They started telling me about an iPad that I had won. <> <> <> Then followed a lot of swearing on my part before they hung up. Next time, if someone asks who I am, I ll ask who they are before hanging up.

Rang me but did not leave a message have no idea who they are

Claims to be from Openreach to discuss a service issue with my ISP. Wanted me to run a program from a website my ISP has blocked. Scammers??

David called regarding cavity wall insulation and hung up when I told him my house doesn t have cavity walls.

I know it was the Bank of Scotland as they were calling me about a specific query on my account, I had emailed them yesterday.... no cold calling, no upselling of products. just customer service.

This number is persistently calling. As with a previous comment i object to strangers using my christian name. I've had three calls since i asked them not to ring yesterday

So far I ve received two calls from this number within 24hrs after an online enquiry for broadband & phone with EE. I was just "shopping around" for a better deal. I don t think I ll bother to look any further now if this is what s going to happen as a result, with endless and unauthorised telesales calls.
