A Company calling itself Home Response rang and offered home appliance cover which I foolishly took out. They said they would send documents and gave this number to call in the event of a breakdown. They have taken money from my account but I have had no documents and get put on long hold when I ring the number - nobody answers. Can anyone throw any light on this company?

Called with an automated telephone message to tell me this was Her Majesty's Customs and Revenue and that there was fraud on my account. Dial a number to be put through. This is a work mobile which is only used for calling work.....there is no fraud on the account.....therefore I would say this is dangerous

Number called twice, purporting to be from Caernarfon. Hangs up on answering. In my experience this is an auto-dial check to make sure that a real person answers the number.
