HMRC scam now on this number, I didn't listen to the end, just hanged up after a few seconds

I missed a call on my mobile from 01422315229. I called them back from my work phone (As it withholds my number) and the company would not give me their name, what they may have wanted, what they do as a company or how they got a number I ve only had for two days.

They re trying to sell you hold music and messages for your phone system. They claim they work with suppliers associated with your company and state they want to work on a big project with you and your supplier. Obviously a lot of Google bashing goes on before they phone you. They refuse to speak to anyone or tell you anything unless they re speaking to the owner / managing director of the company. I Had tried applying for a payday loan and stupidly put my phone number out there so now im being bombarded with calls from this number it called me 3 times before i answered spoke to an indian man who was very rude and stated "did u just hang up on me" to then him go through my details which he must of picked up from another site, said his senior financial accounts officer would call back. I got a call back from this man and again he was very rude and had an indian accent possibly the same man if im honest

Had 5 calls of scottish power in the last two days. I have never been with them in my life

no idea who this was as I was out when they rang, but one other person has searched for this number in past 3 days so I am assuming it s one of those unsolicited pest callers
