Insulation. They claim it's a survey, but you know it's a scam. Silence on line for several seconds. (I do not say anything when answering unknown numbers just to see if it is a robot messenging call). When questioned about what company he was representing, the man purported to be an energy adviser from the Insulation Advice Line. I asked him if he could provide his company number. He replied 'No'. He was rude and talked over me. The threat of reporting him because of TPS violation did not phase him.
SCAM / SPAM: BT Scam! Asian sounding female called from a call centre, asking for me by name. I deliberately answered the phone in German, which made her hesitant. She said she was calling from 'British Telecom', and asked for Mrs **** again. I asked her who she was, in German, and she ended the call abruptly. When I did 1471 to get her number, it said 'Please Hang Up' which makes me think this is a spoofed number. Incidentally, I no longer have a BT phone line.

Rang me at 5am! I rang back and it was a man who said the lines are now closed, didn’t say who they where though.
I had a call from populus survey yesterday and told them it wasn t a good time and they said they would call back. That was from number 0345 313 0337. Just had a missed call from the 0191 number everyone is talking about. I called it back and it says the number does not exist. Glad I googled it as had not connected the two. I will block both numbers to see if it does the trick.

Call regarding supposed unsecured debts. Claimed to be from Citizens Advice or similar sounding name. Knew my name but couldnt tell me anything about the supposed debt I have so I said I wasnt interested. Scam call...avoid.
Bank alert, told me that two large transactions had gone from account. Didn't say what bank or use my name. Cancelled call and accounts are all ok so must be scam. Blocked.
