This number called me with an automated voice, saying they were from BT and because there had been some suspicious activity on my landline, they were going to disconnect my line. I was to press 1 to speak to an advisor. I am not with BT and this number does not appear to be anything to do with BT. I did not press one. I am concerned that vulnerable, genuine BT customers with will be embroiled in some sort of scam.

SCAM!!!! They say it’s sky but we’re not with sky, and they are talking about my sky account! I told him to stop calling me as it’s almost everyday and the man told me to shut up in a really angry voice!!! It’s harassment, and feels like they call to keep you on the line so you are charged! Could be wrong as I block these numbers as and when they call but I just don’t see why else they would call. It’s not actually sky because I reported it to sky and they said it’s not them at all.
