Indian call center claiming to be O2 and offering me a 30% discount but also asking me to verify that I'm the owner of the phone by text even though they called me. They also wanted me to tell them how much I was paying per month so that they could discount it, if they are from O2 then why would they not know how much I'm paying already? It's a scam, clearly. No matter how much he tried to persuade me otherwise.

He remainded polite and calm but still keen to get more information, WITHOUT giving HIS organisation's details.

I ve just had a call from this number. They said that as I had been involved in a road accident my case had been referred to them. As I had a car accident in the last week my insurance company had referred me to an injury claim solicitor (one who does a lot of advertising on TV) so I thought this was them until I was passed to a supervisor who then proceeded to say "I understand you have been involved in an accident in the last two years". Got a call from 0208 415 1292 claiming to be from HMRC with an automated message saying that I have tax evaded, without stating my name or anything, and the message carries on saying that they have a warrant on me :P honestly!?!?!?!?... they carry on asking me to press this and that button, which I didn't ofc... I hung up... Careful guys when you get calls from unknown people asking you to press this button or that, you may be giving way for hackers to clone your phone.

This number calls a LOT especially as I have asked twice to be removed from their database. Excel services wanting to service a dyson we do not have. Just had a call today, VERY rude girl. I told her we had already asked to be taken off the database, we don t have a dyson. She said that s why she s got us down as non-dyson. So they can make a note of that bit but not the fact that we re not interested?! I ended up hanging up, she was just so unpleasant.
